I started with Dagan with a short term goal. I wanted to lose 15-20 pounds before a vacation planned in Hawaii. We set goals and Dagan designed a plan. He said it was possible, but I had to do everything he said, because it was a very aggressive goal. I worked hard and followed his guidance and I lost 19 pounds in less than 2 months! Now 1 ½ years later I have been continually resetting and achieving goals. I am 58 and in better shape now than when I was 30. To date I have lost 36 pounds!! Do I recommend him? HELL YES! The five months I have spent training at ForgedFit have been nothing less than life-changing. Although I've been overweight my whole life, I have always maintained that I did not deserve my body and that I was genetically predisposed to being heavy. I was also always an active teenager and adult, constantly playing basketball and going to the gym. However, as it turns out, I was just doing everything wrong. I in fact did eat badly and was not deriving the productivity that I needed out of my workouts. I had been putting in the time but I simply had no idea what I was doing, and hadn't realized that until I worked with someone who knew absolutely everything. ForgedFit isn't just a training regimen or an hour session where some trainer pushes you a little further than you would push yourself. With my son’s wedding fast approaching, it was time for me to get serious about losing weight. I didn’t like the way I looked and I had a thousand excuses why I didn’t have time to go to the gym. Having an appointment with a personal trainer is so important for a person like me. Knowing someone is waiting for you is definitely an incentive, and it really keeps your workout sessions a priority. I had never done any serious weight training before. In fact, I was doubtful that at 60 years of age it was even possible for me to gain lean muscle, strength and balance, or improve bone density. Before I knew it, my body was changing and my clothes were getting baggy. My aches and pains vanished in my knees and foot, the cracking sounds even went away. After only 3 months of training, I looked at my before and after pictures, and saw a whole new person. Dagan has had an amazing impact on my physical well being and my sense of self esteem. Starting at ForgedFit I was very skeptical. The one goal I never could reach was weight loss, which didn’t allow me to be confident in my own skin. I did not think that this program would work. Dagan designed a program that fit me both physically and mentally. He made me realize that in order to be physically fit I must also be MENTALLY fit. He not only help me drop the pounds and inches, but build a confidence in myself. I am more healthy and confident about working out. Because of Dagan and his training, I no longer have a fear of wearing white shirts with jeans nor reaching my weight loss goals. As an objective for this testimonial I tried to think of the pros and cons of having Dagan as my trainer and the program he set up for me, and as I was trying to think of the cons, I couldn't think of any!
First he asked me what I wanted to work towards, and I told him I wanted to become stronger as a defensive lineman and get faster in the 40 yd dash. He knew exactly what to do. He had a custom plan set up for me after discussion. He motivated me with every exercise I had, making sure my technique was flawless. I play for a high school football team and their workout doesn't even compare to the workout Dagan had for me.
Before I started with him, my technique was terrible, but with his help, the weightlifting and diet suggestions changed me significantly. I used to only be able to squat 215, but with his help, I was able to squat 310 after only 2 months of working out three times a week (not only focusing on squats, but arms, back, and core as well). My 40 yd dash went from 5.6 to 5.1. I'm very happy with Dagan, he has been a very inspiring role model and coach.

I am an extremely high-stress individual with a busy life. By nature, I am unmotivated when it comes to fitness and a perpetual “dieter” with no self-control when it comes to eating right. But, I can honestly say that Dagan and ForgedFit have changed my outlook on diet and exercise. Before I started working out with Dagan, I would go the gym once or twice a week maximum for thirty minutes, and I was too shy to go to the weight room. Now, instead of the gym, I’m running outside for over an hour at a time, firming up with weight training two days a week, and actually enjoying exercise for once! My trainer, Dagan, is amazing! He has created a personal plan that changes with my needs to maximize my results as my body transforms. First, I started building muscle with weight sessions, then we switched the focus more toward cardio to help me shed weight and get heart healthy, and now we’re combining the two for an amazingly effective total body workout in less than an hour. The best part is the results. I used to wear extra-large exercise pants and bathing suit bottoms, but now I wear a small. My jeans have dropped from a size 12 to a size 6, and my body looks better than ever. Over the last two months alone, I’ve converted 3% of pure body fat into lean muscle, for an over all total of an 8% loss in body fat since I began. I may not have been able to completely transform my eating habits, and I probably never will, but my ForgedFit plan allows me to eat reasonably healthy with bad days here or there, and still get the results I want. I couldn’t ask for more from my trainer, and I’ve never been happier with my overall fitness in my entire life. I highly recommend ForgedFit to anyone, especially busy people who are looking for motivation, knowledgeable supervision, and meaningful results without having to make an unrealistic commitment.

Dagan has the knowledge to accommodate your needs. He is by no means a 'one size fits all' trainer. He listens, motivates and continually keeps workouts fresh and challenging while catering to your individual goals. He is by far the best trainer that I have ever had.
